The Great Grape Arbor

OK, so perhaps this month's page should be titled 'Current Projects', but we're in the middle of building a colossal grape arbor. Eight cement columns stand 8 feet high and will be crowned with rough cut lumber in a fan design. Our existing grape vines will eventually provide cover over a gently curving pathway. The columns are actually concrete pipes used for drainage systems. We've chosen to revamp their function by giving them an earth-toned finish and standing them upright!
