Father's Day Weekend at Falling Water Gardens

Bring Dad fishing at Falling Water Gardens this Father's Day Weekend! We'll have delicious hotdogs, hamburgers and refreshments available. OK, there will be no actual fishing, but Dad gets a free fish for the pond! Enjoy your time perusing the grounds and checking out all our lovely display features.

On Sunday, June 20th, we’ll also be holding a free class at 1pm – Pond Building 101. This class covers every aspect of pond building for the do-it-yourselfer. How big do I want my pond? Will I have fish? Answer these questions and more in this all encompassing course. This is by far our most popular class. Bring Dad and learn what it takes to do it right. What better way to spend time with him than building something beautiful?

Attention: We still have tons of vegetable starts. Come check out all the wonderful heirlooms!

Sorticulture 2010

This year's Sorticulture is happening this June 11th, 12th and 13th at Everett's Leigon Memorial Park. Sorticulture unites art and the garden in a celebration of creative outdoor living. Featured artists create distinctive hand-crafted garden art and local nurseries produce a wide variety of plants to transform your backyard. Learn tips and tricks from top regional gardening experts including Ciscoe Morris. Sorticulture also features display gardens and activities for the kids.

This year we'll be there with plants AND koi! This is a really great event. We enjoy it more every year. Check out the all the details here.

Thanks for your help!

This past Memorial Day Weekend, Falling Water Gardens raised $180 for the Everett Vet Center. The Center operates under the United States Department of Veterans Affairs. Its focus is to be an advocate for veterans and their families to ensure they receive all the benefits that are available to them. They provide much needed counseling services, including a special program for veterans and their families who are coping with post-traumatic stress. The Everett site is one of 23 VA Vet Centers to open across the country in the past two years. The centers are staffed by teams of counselors and outreach specialists, many of them combat veterans.
