Welcome
This is a bit of an abbreviated newsletter for the fall season, but an important one none the less. Yes fall is here, but is your pond ready? Do you know how to prep your UV filter for winter? Is your skimmer clean? Do you need a pond de-icer? How about netting to keep the leaves out? Have you got cool season food?
We've got solutions for you.
Our gift shop is currently transforming into an autumn wonderland. We've got great fall themed gifts. In addition to the fall decor we have fabulous gifts for gardeners, including birdhouses, bird feeders, bird food, candles, lotions, vases, fountains, decorative pots, cards, tools and placards. Have you been to Monroe to check us out yet?
If you are still interested in adding fish to your pond you'd better get on it. As soon as the temperature reaches 50 degrees we don't sell fish as it is detrimental to their health. That could be as soon as the end of this month. Now is the time as all koi are on sale!
Fall is on its way, and it's a fantastic time to plant in the garden. Perennials and trees thrive when planted in the fall. Our mild and wet winters promote initial growth in plant material, which equates to BIG plants in the spring. Come out to Monroe and see what we've got! |
