Stream and Falls into Goldfish Pond

We've installed yet another beautiful water feature at our nursery in Monroe. This natural stream with gentle falls is representative of many installations that we perform. We call it a goldfish pond because koi require a slightly more advanced filtration system - or the addition of a bio-bead filter. Koi ponds are also dug to a greater depth. This gives the fish more room to grow and ample space to evade predators. As soon as some of the sediment is cleared from the water we'll have this feature flush with sarasa, shubunkin and comets. These species may not get all the attention that koi receive, but they are every bit as relaxing and enjoyable.

Falling Water Designs would be more than happy to install a koi or goldfish pond for you. Perhaps you would like to do it yourself? Come out to the nursery in Monroe and let us walk you through the steps. We've got everything you need for your project!
