My husband and I were introduced to Rick and Ken, and Falling Water Designs, about 18 months ago. They saved us from near disaster, as we were just getting ready to move into our newly built home.
Our original landscaper, who happens to be a good friend, started the installation of a waterfall. He had already installed the large basalt columns, dug the hole, etc...when he informed us that the waterfall and pond that we wanted was out of his comfort zone, and he did not want to continue with the process. Now that the installation was halted our decision became, do we still want the waterfall? The answer was a resounding YES! So our friend referred us to Rick, Ken, and the crew of Falling Water Designs.
Rick Perry came out and assessed the situation and said, "Nice design so far there's just one problem: We have to remove all the basalt columns, boulders, and rock to put down the liner."
We had just had a large flagstone patio installed, so bringing in any sort of equipment to move the stone was not possible. Rick's solution was to bring in a huge crane with a 140' boom that went from the street over the house to lift up the rockery while Rick and Ken guided the whole process and laid down the liner. It was quite the scene, and it was completed in just a few hours! Never once have we ever regretted putting in our water feature. It becomes more and more beautiful each season as the plants mature and the birds visit.
Ever since our first meeting, my husband and I have enjoyed working with Rick, Ken, and their hard working and dedicated crew. They are all very professional and just fun to work with, as well as being extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything regarding plants, water features, pond fish, etc. After our first encounter with Falling Water Designs and seeing what they did with our water feature and all the plantings around it, I have been having Rick and Ken fine tune our landscaping plan. Adding or removing trees or plants here and there as well as installing accent lighting throughout our garden. We also had them install a flagstone path near the water feature and huge ceramic pots on our patio with perennial plants that look beautiful and are low maintenance.
I should mention that our water feature is extremely low maintenance too and whenever we have had a question or needed help, Rick or Ken would be out that day or the next to attend to the issue at hand! Does that kind of service still exist today? It definitely does with Falling Water Designs!
In conclusion, Falling Water Designs means professionalism, knowledge, friendliness, and creativity! For a beautiful and unique outdoor space, Rick, Ken and the crew at Falling Water Designs are the Best!
