SPRING SERVICE:
Most ponds and water features require an annual cleaning and water change in the spring. During the autumn and winter, leaves and other organic matter fall into the water and sink to the bottom and begin to decompose. To ensure fish health and water quality, it's a good idea to have the pond drained, scrubbed and refilled in the Spring. A Spring cleaning usually takes the better part of a day. This service includes:
- Drain and clean the pond and refill
- Check water quality, PH and ammonia levels
- Check fish health
- Check aquatic plants and move to the proper level, fertilize, and divide if necessary.
- Check the pump and clean the volute
- Check and clean the skimmer
- Start the biological filter
- Start the UV Sterilizer
- Check the auto-fill valve, lights, and other plumbing

For growing season service, most customers find satisfaction in signing up for bi-weekly or monthly maintenance visits. Maintenance visits are billed by the hour and usually take just one hour a visit. Growing season service includes:
- Check water quality, PH and ammonia levels and adjust where necessary
- Check fish health
- Check aquatic plants, fertilize, clip and trim dead plant material

FALL MAINTENANCE SERVICE:
Towards the end of October, as the water temperature drops to 50 degrees, your biological filter stops functioning as the bacteria dies off, and your aquatic plants start to die back. Dead organic matter dropping to the bottom of the pond creates an anaerobic environment that releases gasses that can become toxic to fish. To ensure better water quality and to preserve your investment, certain tasks need to be done. The fall visit is billed by the hour and usually takes two or three hours. Fall maintenance services include:
- Check water quality, PH and ammonia levels and adjust where necessary
- Check fish health
- Cut back aquatic plants, clip and trim dead plant material, prepare plants for winter.
- Check the pump and clean the volute
- Check and clean the skimmer
- Clean the biological filter, drain and store for winter
- Drain and store the UV Sterilizer
- Skim the pond and remove as much dead organic plant material as possible.
- Lift the pump to winter height (When practical)
- Net the pond to collect falling leaves. (When practical)
